   My DH and I regularly watch The Secret video. We have found it very helpful for keeping a postive attitude and knowing it will all work out in the end. We have had a lot of trials and tribulations in the last 10 years or so, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have learned so much about myself. Despite how difficult our experiences have been, I am grateful to have had those experiences to learn more about ourselves. I learned to turn the phrase "I can't" into "I can" just by thinking about things differently.
   
   I would be willing to do some kind of challenge or something. What would be our goal?

   I guess we either set seperate goals for a certain period of time or the same monetary goals with the same time limit......what do you suggest? I think this would be a super fun challenge!

   Well, I have watched The Secret enough times to know that don't say something like you want to be out of debt, because that attracts negative energy, and more debt.
   
   My goal will be to become financial independent within the next 2 years. My DH and I want to develop a passive stream of income that would generate $100,000 per year. In addition, I want to accumulate 1 year's salary in a money market in 2 years.

   My husband and I were talking about The Secret last night and I realized I stated my goal incorrectly. With The Secret, you basically state your goal ($1 million) and have to let it go and let the universe figure out how it will happen.
   
   I have changed my mind on what my goal for the Challenge should be. Instead, I want to have $1 million by the end of the year. This is gonna be fun!

   okay......my goal....to make 100,000 by the years end. Don't forget to listen to your instinct and act when you feel the urge.........this is going to be fun........how are we to keep up with each others progress? Check in once a month........once a week?
